The SDRP has long been a collaboration of multiple groups. Since 1989 it has been a partnership led and supported by the Chicago Zoological Society (CZS). Our partners include the Mote Marine Laboratory, the Dolphin Biology Research Institute, Federal and State agencies,  conservation-oriented corporations, and non-profit conservation groups.

The mission of CZS, which is affiliated with Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, IL, is to promote and inspire conservation leadership world wide. CZS is an international leader in wild dolphin and porpoise conservation activities. CZS accepts tax deductible contributions and passes the funds directly on for our dolphin research.

As part of a cooperative agreement with CZS, the Mote Marine Laboratory (MML) has provided  research facilities and collaboration with the SDRP research since 1992 .  The MML has been an international leader in marine research since 1955, and has been an informal supporter of the SDRP research since 1970.

The Dolphin Biology Research Institute (DBRI) was organized by the  founders of the SDRP in 1982 as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation to support the SDRP research.  This website is produced by DBRI, which is responsible for the content and statements herein.
